Being in Love is telling a person if you have to leave, you will let them sleep, and being told they would rather be woken… it’s tenderness.
Being in Love is waking up to find the subject of the dream you were having asleep on your shoulder… it’s where fantasy meets reality.
Being in Love is being there to wake your lover slowly… it’s sensuousness.
Romance (in the commonly accepted sense) is absolutely necessary for a life-long relationship, and one of the great joys that offset the sufferings of love, but you cannot build a lasting life together on romance alone. Love will develop all the good qualities of romance, while rejecting the selfish ones and in the end be more fulfilling. Love is the foundation on which romance must be built. What our culture/society teaches us, and the idea I wish to counter here, is that romance is the foundation on which to build love.Love is a smile into their heart, a touch that will awaken another’s passion. It is a spiritual bonding between two people that nothing can tear apart. Loved is sharing the spiritual beliefs, and making your faith in each other stronger day by day. Love is going thru trying times together relying on each others strength, and it builds a stronger relationship as you experience the good with the some times difficult times.
